This 1930s programme from the Durham County Committee of Colonial Dames of North Carolina outlines the local meetings to be held from October 1930 to May 1931.

The Durham County Committee of the NC Dames met on the third Wednesday of every month.

The booklet is completely handmade and illustrated with charming sketches.

Every entry in the programme lists the month of each meeting, the title and author of that month’s lecture, and the name of that meeting's hostess.

The programme has a blue paper cover and is bound with string. It was written by hand in careful calligraphy and its pages are illustrated with pen and ink sketches.

The last few pages in the booklet list the names of the members of the Durham County Committee of Colonial Dames in 1930.

This booklet is a wonderfully preserved example of a handcrafted programme from the North Carolina Dames of the 1930s.
