Frequently, we find items in the archives that lack contextual information, as is the case with this introductory speech. We believe it was written and recited by Mrs. John Bright Hill, because we found the document inside a folder bearing her name.  There is no record of the date, time or place, nor what occasioned the presence of the illustrious Dr. Frank Porter Graham. The speech contains a quote by Graham that had appeared in the June 5, 1950 issue of Time Magazine.
