On November 4, 2015, the Wilmington Star News announced the recipients of grant awards from the Landfall Foundation. The Foundation awarded a grant to the Burgwin-Wright House to help support People of the Past, an educational program about colonial history provided free of charge to all fourth-grade classes in the New Hanover County public school system.

Landfall Foundation awards grants worth $361,000

WILMINGTON -- The Landfall Foundation will present checks totaling $361,000 to 78 Wilmington-area nonprofit organizations on Thursday. It's the largest amount awarded since the foundation’s inception 20 years ago.
